Hello! I’m a bit late but I promise it’s not because I forgot about this month’s entry, so here it is :P

This will be a short one, I think, since I don’t have much to say… Most of June was pretty… nothingburger (?) I spent most of the month finishing my OC’s reference sheets for Art Fight! I’m very very excited for this year’s Art Fight, and even if I ended up rushing my designs and ref sheets, I’m happy I could finish my OC’s in time for the event and now I’m having tons of fun preparing and drawing pieces for other people :3

Talking about Art Fight, this year I chose Team Mystery! (because, as you might know, I’m insane about mystery VNs and there’s no way I’d choose any other team LOL)… My goal this year is focusing on drawing full pieces to practice and go back to drawing more complex illustrations, as I’ve been drawing characters floating in white voids and super simple illustrations since this year started. I also want to draw designs outside of my comfort zone, revenge as much as I can and get to draw as many of my mutuals’ and bookmarks’ OC’s as possible. What else… I also played Deltarune chapter 5 and started obsessing over it suuuper hard, so much that I couldn’t stop playing. I played Chapter 5, replayed Chapter 3 to do the Sword Route, replayed Chapter 4 to see the ch4 Weird Route scene and also to play the Chapter 5 weird route… Yeah. I spent an unhealthy amount of time reading Weird Route theories afterwards and looking at fanart online. Yeahhh. Because of this I kind of forgot to keep drawing during the last week of June, which was the week I planned to use to finish some zines for Pride Month. Btw, Happy Late Pride Month! I didn’t finish anything for Pride in the end but I have to admit it’s partially because I wasn’t feeling especially confident about my zines. That doesn’t mean I won’t finish them though, I think that’s the charm of zines, they can be really bad and it doesn’t matter! What matters the most is self expression and the fact that they’re made by you. I guess I will finish them when I have more time, maybe after I’m done with Art Fight?? Just maybe…

I’ve been mentioning that stupid Ko-fi shop I want to set up where I plan to publish all my zines for free, but I’m gonna be honest, as long as I don’t finish more zines and stop feeling lazy about it, I probably won’t open it LOL. I won’t mention it again until I actually do it because ATP it’s getting annoying…… It will happen eventually.

Aside from my zines I also wanted to do a Pride illustration that never happened LOL… I really wanted to do more art this past month but it’s the way it is, at least I doodled a bunch of things that I’m happy about! I didn’t finish my zines but I made some progress drawing some pages, and even if my other sketches and doodles aren’t something I’m particularly proud of, at least I’m still drawing stuff. As always, I’m still super obsessed with my OC’s, especially now that I’ve been working on them for AF, so drawing silly sketches of them makes me happy even if it’s not really something I would call “productive”. Not everything is about productivity, posting and making content, sometimes drawing a bad doodle of your OC is enough.

Anyway, as I said this entry is a bit shorter because I don’t have a lot to say lol… Sorry if it’s a bit nonsensical too, I’m just writing whatever comes to mind.

That’s all for now, I hope next month I have more to write about…? Summer really is flying by, and I don’t know how much I’ll be able to do before going back to studying and being busy again :’) Hopefully I’ll find time to work on this site too, both to upload my OC sections (that’s still WIP) and update the gallery… But who knows LOL, coding a site is more time consuming than it looks like. Anywayyyy, I’ll try to do my best and use my time wisely. I’ll let you know how that’s going next time I write here…
